since you mentioned interest in public art, I thought I'd also mention the Vancouver Sculpture Biennale - there's a lot of other new public art on display as part of this event through 2007, maybe it'll be of interest during your visit http://www.vancouverbiennale.com/about.html

if you're following the current main CTF challenge, I used one of the pieces as my subject :)

I promise that my next two will NOT be of the baby. I need to broaden my horizons...

This one is close to the auto-enhancement chosen by the free/bundled ArcSoft PhotoStudio that came with my camera. I was shocked at the oversaturation, but wound up liking it after a little toning-down.

I like all of them. The second is probably one of the cutest entries. The third is my favorite; the blue really makes the shot.
 
The first is my favorite. I love the color and the romanticism. I would probably pick the fence as my second favorite. I like them all.
 
They're all great, but I especially like #2. I don't think it's passe at all, and fits the topic well. There's almost nothing but blue in the whole frame. It's beautiful.
 
I have a lot of shots with blue skies but thought there might be a lot of sky and/or water shots better than mine so decided to enter something different. But here's some other shots from England and Ireland.
