This one is close to the auto-enhancement chosen by the free/bundled ArcSoft PhotoStudio that came with my camera. I was shocked at the oversaturation, but wound up liking it after a little toning-down.
They're all great, but I especially like #2. I don't think it's passe at all, and fits the topic well. There's almost nothing but blue in the whole frame. It's beautiful.
I have a lot of shots with blue skies but thought there might be a lot of sky and/or water shots better than mine so decided to enter something different. But here's some other shots from England and Ireland.
