Finally! First snow!

I sure had to wait a long time for this... but today it finally happened. I had to run outside with my camera in one hand trying to protect it from the snow with my other hand, which also contained my tripod - not easy. Anyway, seems like my camera survived

I envy you your snow, and I like this shot -- I love the long, deserted, street. I like the color, too: is it due to the street lights?

The colors are pure street lights, indeed. It's a bit more red in this picture than it is in reality, but the colors are still beautiful here.

Thanks, Rich. I would probably have done that, if it wasn't snowing so darn hard

. I did some shooting from my window, but that wasn't near as impressive as on the street. Holiday cheers back to you!

Hugh, thanks for the comments. The streetlights did indeed give me that strange red color.
