L1 or not?

I like the glass on LC1, so I believe Panasonic will do a good job on the L1 (Beside the sensor).

Trouble is, the Sony A100 is looking good too. Anyone knows when that is coming out?

Hope that both cameras will be out soon, so that there can be REAL reviews on REAL cameras, rather that hype and gos on PROTOTYPES.

on the other hand, just saw the news on FZ50 and LX2.... Maybe I'll save my money from the L1 and get both FZ50 and LX2. Probably save a few bucks!

I was at a local Sony store yesterday evening. To me the A100 is a total TANK -- huge and cumbersome, and I have pretty long fingers. And the zoom ring is loose and not calibrated too accurately so finding 50mm for a 1:1 is a pain. The R1 was more user friendly.

Why not wait for the reviews, may help a tad with making a choice.
