posted this earlier- got some C&C about it being over-saturated. They were right.

This is the 'improved' version. Hope you like it.

My apologies if you have already seen it in two earlier posts!

No apologies needed n2soaring. Very nice shot, and I'd say the saturation is about right. :-) I saw your earlier examples and this one definitely has more detail imho, great job. Thanks for sharing.

I posted my first butterfly pic up a few weeks ago...but figure I would add one to your thread here. I am rather fond of it.

With the 20D and 70-200 F4. Wish I had the 300 F4 on it.

Good shot Lokish, I'm amazed you were able to focus through the
foliage. Thanks for sharing.

Roger
Thanks, it was amazing the butterfly stayed there long enough...snapped off a few more and when I look at them one after the other you can pretty well see a choppy version of it fluttering its wings.

If you want to see the others, they are housed here http://stonecede.smugmug.com/gallery/1603399

Cheers,

I'd like to thank everyone that has participated and or looked at this post. The response has been great, I luv the cross section of examples that were given, they're priceless. And please, if you have one or several that you'd like to share please still do.

Here's a couple more of mine taken today with a patient guy in 107 degree F heat.
