D7 and Oly B300

I've had my D7 for 1 week now. I have several Oly lenses ( B300, B-macro and a A28 WA lens) I use with my 3040 camera, so I have been playing around a little. Here are two shots I took yesterday experimenting with the B300. Both pics were shot with the D7 at full 7x zoom, tripod and remote shutter release.

uh, forgot to state that the 1st shot is without the 300, the 2nd is with. Both shots taken from the same distance.

Looks like your DOF is more narrow with B-300. Did you open up the aperture abit for B-300 shot? I have the B-300 (soon will have two of them, don't ask me why) and the WCON 08. Used these on a Oly 2100UZ. They seem to work fairly well on the D7, although there is not to much gain on WA ( Slight Vignette at 28mm-disappears at 34mm)

Art, I shot these in auto mode. Exif data shows both at f6.7

Peter, I saw in the other post where you've already found one. I bought mine from an ebay seller for $217 shipped. A fellow named Martin from Germany is selling them for $149 shipped to the US. His email and other info can be found by searching the Canon and Oly forums.

Someone on Brian's add on lens page has used an Olympus A200 with good success - no vignetting. It has 49 mm threads so there's no adapter needed. It's only a !.5X compared to the B300's 1.7X though. Last time I checked, B&H had these new for $84.95 - B&H# OLTLIS1
