H5 - Newbie Pictures

Hi - I've been reading the forum for awhile, but haven't spoken up until now. I am happy with my H5, although I have so much to learn. I'm posting four pictures, and would really appreciate tips on improving. I find that on a long photo-shoot day, when I may take 200+ photos, there will be about 25 of them that I really like.

AAK - I'd like to say a big THANK YOU for the white paper. I'm trying to absorb it all. It's a wonderful resource.

Bill, Jean and CTk2651 -- Thank you for your nice comments. Bill, I'm also appreciative of the instructions for posting. I post to another forum using Pixentral, and am able to get a thumbnail to show in the message. But it didn't work here :-( I'll look into some other options. Anyway, thank you for your kind words and your help.

Thank you, thank you, everyone for the nice comments on the pictures. AAK, I am soooo honored to be inDUCKted! I think I'll celebrate today!

"Newbie" is a relateive term, I suppose. I still consider myself a newbie, because this is the first camera I've owned that I felt was a challenge. I had an Olympus C-700 before, and didn't ever stretch myself with it -- just left it in auto and snapped away. The H5 has me "pumped up", and I'm trying to think more like a photographer. So . . . thought it's not the first time I've held a digital, it is the first time I've taken things seriously.
