Memory stick to compact flash adapter 4 Image Bank

Since im planning to use a Sima Image Bank to download from my Memory Stick cards (a purpose it wasnt originally designed for) ive read that a special adapter has been designed to do it,called "Cardmedia" memory stick to compact flash adapter.My question is where can i get the best bargain on this,how much should i expect to pay and are there alternatives to this brand that are just as good?....Thanx Dan

If it is an adaptor that will allow you to put a memory stick into a compact flash card so that it can be read by a compact flash adaptor, this is simple. I live in Australia, and have found the best place for low cost adaptors. They also list their prices in US dollars, and will ship to the USA very quickly. I ordered products from this site and they arrived the next morning, and they are in another state. It is called Flash Memory ( http://www.flashmemory.com.au ). They have the cheapest adaptors that I have found on the net, and with your US dollars they will be even better.

Thanx Trent,i found one at their site(even though their search engine stank and got me no-where) The cost came to $41.82 befor s/h,tax or any unforseen charges.I e-mailed them to see what everything would actually come to.The only other one ive found is at datafab.com 909-869-9000 They want $59+$6 s/h+$5 tax=$70.00.If anyone else knows where i can find it or a good buy on an Image Bank spare battery pack charger im all ears.(thanx) Dan

I bought it today from the co. you recommended.About $47. total.I figured your tip saved me about $16. I also bought the $199. Sima Image Bank without hardrive for $199. and a 20gb hardrive from newegg.com for $113(w/ sh/&tax).I was aware of this opportunity thanks to info i got or dug up on this and the Sony forum.Im impressed that i can switch hardrives in the image bank.Id like to have several 5gb and 10 gb hardrives (cheaper than MS cards and practicly as small.) Itd be nice if i could pick-up some used ones cheap.I also got my Sony 707 in the mail today so i guess its Christmas.Thanx for the advice.Now i just need a hotter buy on the spare powersupply for my IB Dan
