Here are a few (macro focus) water pictures taken with the Nikon CP 995. I'm purchasing a 10X loupe this week to get even closer to the action. Macro is the coolest thing ...

Please post your comments.

The water drops took forever, many MANY pictures were taken to get the correct focus and depth of field. I was practically in the sink, as close to the water source without getting too wet (nothing a towel can't fix). It's a learning curve for sure. Now I find myself looking for the out of the ordinary, interesting and seldom seen.

Lone-Drop: (PS auto-levels and de-saturated). Taken in stainless-steel sink and caught just at the right time.

Droplet-Fury: (PS auto-levels and channel mixed monochrome). Taken in stainless-steel sink from sink type shower head, many droplets.

Car-Window-Droplets: (PS auto-levels). Through car window during rainy day, red is a Mazda RX7 in the next parking stall.

I can't believe there's only one post for this one, my feelings are a bit hurt :(

Usually the dripping water pictures are popular.

Hello,

Title should have been "Red Corvette Window," It is all how you sell it, and work the blue light. The Nude Illustrator posts cracked me up.

I liked the shots. I always like to see more picture posts, and detailed explanations of how someone got the shot. You gave me some other idea's I'll try out, but not on my 950 with the slow ISO.

I may go 995 instead of 5000 to save a few bucks and be 30% mp happier.

Keep them coming!

Great pictures, I'm anxious in seeing water droplets with your new 10x loupe.

Maybe we'll see all the water molecules or the living organisms inside of the water.

Yes, there was flash on the "sink" photos but not on the window droplets. I'm going to get a bright halogen work light for the next round of shots. The flash gives each drop a bright spot that I would like to eliminate.

I'll keep them coming, it's fun ...
Beautyfull shots. Did you use flash for to freeze the droplet?
