Poor light this evening so the photos are not so good but the action was.
I did not crop these shots as I thought that it would loose some of the effect.

Here is Heckle stretching her wings, showing off in front of Jeckle.

First flight right over Jeckle's head. LOL.

Not bad Heckle, the Wright Bros. only flew the length of a 747 on their first flight and they had an engine.

Thanks for looking.

I bet he'll get used to watching over his shoulder once he's tired of it.

I think Jeckle is saying, "Hey Babe, wait till you see my act"!

thanks again and again for bringing us this incredible photo story of the eaglets. It is something most of us would never be able to see in our everyday lives.

Wonderful images and very exciting to see Heckle spread his wings and fly!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Denise I have almost decided that Heckle is the female and Jeckle the male. this is based on Heckle's slightly larger size and the fact that she is more bossy which as we all know would make her female. LOL

Thank you Charles, would you believe I have not done that yet I've been so concerned with posting the photos that I never looked at the full slide show on "smugmug" I will do now as I am wondering what I will do with this series when they fly away. Keep checking back as I will be adding to the show untill they leave.

of photos of those eagles, John. I wouldn't delete them, either!

And... if the other half gives you grief about your hobby, gently remind her that you "could" be out carousing and looking for women ;-) On second thought, why the heck did we choose photography instead? ;-)
