Good Day all,

I ordered the D200 Feb.11, 2006 and it arrived on April 27, 2006 without the lens that I ordered with it. So I bought the 85mm 1.8 so I could try this new camera out. Shot a landscape job that I found very fustrating without the ability to frame the shot I wanted.

I got the 18/200 on June 30, 2006 and went to an annual event at the CNE last Saturday. I now have the reach that I was missing. It is a great all round lens. Here are a couple of shots.

These are straight out of the camera and just resized for the web.

Sometimes I wonder about myself as a man...first thing I saw was NOT women at a show (never is it seems...which I guess that's a good thing :). Literally the first thing I saw/said when I saw the first photo was..."wow I really like the skin tones, they're done really nicely here". I think my photographic eye has taken over my body (actually it's owned me for years now). O.o

Now then after 10 minutes I can finally say that I'd have to go with 10,16, and 20. Anyone ever notice how much photographers look alike when working, kinda makes me laugh a little. All the way down to the backwards hat.

Nice work btw on the shots what exactly was this event? CNE??? (what's that)

I can always tell if somebody likes a photograph I've taken, because they instantly compliment the camera.

Something along the lines of (With aplogies to Mae West) "Is that an 80-300mm in your kit-bag or are you just really glad to see her"?

Huh? Huh?
