David Davies - Very crisp and clear and good colour. You seem to get quite a depth of focus in these macros, so how did you get that Bob?

These are just marvelous, especially the first one. But then, the pollen on the last one is superb also . . . I guess they are all wonderful!

Thank you David.Well it just takes a camera with a good macro.I used my Sony H1 witch has a great macro that will focus as close as 2 CM's I used it on program mode,ISO-100 the Image stabilizer really helps. If it's really sunny i'll set aperture priority F5.6 for lots of Dept of field. Thanks for your comment Cheers Bob.

1 and 3 are my favorite. Looks like #1 is posing for you. #2 looks like it
has some of that purple stuff they talk about on the edges. i do that
sometimes too, LUL.Looks like fun though. maybe i try a macro sometime.

Kodak people rock!!

Bob, Just perfect shots, Bob. The monarch butterfly is super--usually people try to go for a full wing shot, but this one is more dramatic, sort of "up close and personal", yet the wings are still apparent. A very nice set!

Thank you very much ****.I did try to get a full wing shot but it flew off so i waited until it lit again, was still worried id make it fly off i used the zoom a little while in macro mode.I have three shots, this one is probably the best one.The bees i can almost touch before they fly off,i haven't been stung yet but i keep trying lol.Cheers Bob.
