Good morning Pondria,What is E100VS ? Sounds like a film name.

Good eye.Hello Hugh,
The differences between "low light" and "low light 2" are so
deviously deceptive that I had to switch back and forth about a
dozen times to realize that you moved the tripod over and changed
the height of the camera.
Of course, you are welcome, but it would probably be easier to just print it. If you would like a higher resolution version to print, let me know.Yes it was dark and yes this is a beautiful image. These make me
want to hop back on that plane and see the prints so that I don't
have to scroll the screen to see the large sizes.
Those are my feelings too. It's one of the very few pictures I've taken that really improve with the absence of color.I like tree tops and think of it as an abstract due to the way it
is cropped.
There are "watch out for alligator" signs all over, and this is a jungle.Light echoes 2 scares me for some reason. Something about the
sharpness of the image and lack of color actually evokes a fear
response from me. Wierd.
And, I thank you as always for your comments and compliments. I love taking them. Having them enjoyed is icing on the cakeAs usual I thank you for doing these and allowing me to spend
quality time looking at beautiful images.
Good morning Rick,Very, very nice Hugh. I love dusk pics. They are very hard to
capture. But you seem to do it magnifecently. A great pic from the
other master. (Yourself and Larry)
Good evening Larry,Great shot hugh, I like the colors of this one and the framing.
with respect,
I know it's plain, but I also like the non-standard colors.
Thanks.

It probably won't come as a surprise to you that I was thinking about one of your "blue" pictures when I took this one.Another very, very nice photograph, hugh. Something else impresses
me, you got a composition to work with a square format. Something
that is probably beyond me.
And, thanks again. TreeTops was an obvious choice for b/w. It really didn't work at all in color, but seemed to just light up when converted. LightEchos is not too bad in color, but the sense of mystery seems stronger when converted. You're doing some good things with black and white as well. I
particularly like these two:
Good evening Larry,I think your cutting yourself short here. Plain? nah.
with respect,
Good evening Beth,I agree with Ed. The second b&w is absolutely gorgeous! So much to
look at!
Good evening Marilu,So gorgeous, Hugh. The colors don't even look REAL. A frame and
spot on a wall would show this one beautifully.

Good morning adrienne,Hugh,
I am so amazed at the low-light pictures you've been taking. The
light and color are appealing to me, and your composition is very
fine, too.
I looked at your very good B&W gallery, also, and this one is
incredible! Wow!
With respect,
Good morning DC,Good morning hugh,
guess I missed this one yesterday... Superb!
Another low light picture. This one with film.

Good afternoon again Robert,hugh,
Very nice low-light work you've been doing lately, both with film
and digital. Interestingly, I just got back some stuff I took with
E100VS, which was actually quite decent (it has the reputation for
saturated color that's more garish than Velvia), though they were
daylight pictures that I may share in the new year. The film's
hypersaturated qualities work very well with low light, and I truly
enjoy the tonal qualities of many of your pictures.
Regarding the black and white image below: what everyone said.
Great picture!
Best regards,
