Hi to all,
We packed our bags, loaded our little boy and took off for 8 fun days in the enchanting and beautiful region of Zagorochoria
It is a small area in the north-west of Greece on the border of Albania. It consists of 45 tiny, authentic and colorful villages lying in the pindos mountains.
The area is a true heaven for nature lovers especially trekkers.
Snowy mountains, alpine flora, turquoise rivers, the largest variety of medicinal plants (96 out of 149 plant families known), around 60 beautiful bridges built of local stone and harmonizing with nature, impressive canyons, monasteries hanging at the edges of cliffs and villages where time has stopped.
Truly amazing!
The lighting is not that great on most photos since the majority were taken around mid morning-day.
That is what you get when traveling with a little kid
Some pictures were taken by me and some by my lovely wife (the better ones).
I apologize for the amount of pictures i have presented. I hope they manage to convey a little from the feel of this place.
All comments and critique are welcome
Cheers,
Shy Cohen
