Bill, how thoughtful to share 2 shots from each camera.....the FZ30 has performed well, outstanding actually compared to LC1. Bit more saturation on the 3rd, but they are all beautiful.

Danger in the beauty though....watch your computer and such with the storms!

Wow those are fantastic shots. The LC1 shots almost look like they are three dimensional. What in camera settings did you use for these shots? Thanks for sharing a bit of your sky with us tonight. Pretty cool that I can see a custom photo of tonights sky from all the way across the states.

Thanks LaRee, I use high on all the settings on the LC1, there is no noise reduction setting, nice to have a 3 hour preview..Bill~

Hi Bill,

very pretty, yet scary clouds! hope all will be well for you...I really like the first 2 and want lovely houses and neighborhood!! Looks very classy, clean and just neat! I think I would love those houses!

Hmmm...I like the FZ30 shots better...more natural looking and more contrasty balanced.

In the 3rd (LC1) picture, something generally doesn't look right to me. It looks like there is a photo geometry problem.

I'm not sure what a "photo geometry problem" is, but to me #3 looks a little over-sharpened, though I'm not aware of that being an issue with the LC1.
