I have the opportunity to buy a lens from Cameranu.nl. Does anyone know this dealer, would you recommend it ?

Thanks a lot

Olivier

Hi there,

I have no personal experience, but there is a shopsurvey over here: http://tweakers.net/shopsurvey/5637
which is, unfortunately, in Dutch. However, green means good ;-)

Regards,

Ruud

Thank you very much. I don't understand Dutch but I think I get the overall idea: poeple seem to be very satisfied with the service.
Thanks !

You can imagine a small, dirty room with few guys and boxes around. My initial impressions were not that bad however, though I bought a single lens only at that time. Then I ordered a second one which had to be sent by mail and I got non-european product, i.e. black market product without paid taxes and therefore no warranty (official) from Nikon in my case. Stupidly, I ordered my D70s (body only) from them as well and received it in a "Kit" box !!! Unfortunately, I had problem with the camera at the very beginning with photos exposed half-way, I mean until the meddle of the frame. That was probably a problem with the curtain, but the "nice guys" from CMERANU said - "we don't see problem with your camera" ?!?!?!?!

If you want to deal with specialists, go for http://www.fotokonijnenberg.nl/ . This is the only professional shop for photo equipment in the low, wet land :).

Now you see. Two different opinions. I must say, I don't have an experience with their guarantee-service, because my equipment worked well. But if you are in doubt: DON'T. I agree with Blagoy, however, that fotokonijnenberg is an excellent shop. Here I can say that they are not difficult, when you have to send back goods or cancel an order.

Good luck with your decision.
Regards,

Hans
