Beautiful aircraft - I esp. like the Hurricane, Mustang and Spitfire.
I'd also love the see a real Vulcan bomber in the air.

RNZAF (Royal New Zealand Air Force) Lockheed P-3K 'Orion'

The Navy's - Kaman SH-2G 'Seasprite'

Airforce - Boeing 757 / C-32A with an UH-1H Iroquois in the background

A lineup of the Iroquois

And last but not least, a very rear site for the public to catch, a stripped down Iroquois being loaded into the back of a Lockheed C-130 Hercules

All taken with my 300D and Canon 75-300 zoom.

Hope you like them.
Excellent pix! I like the fact that you blurred the props versus
them static or stopped. Thanx for showing from 'down under', mate.

...regardless of the tail number, and stricly because at the time this photo was taken (8/30/05 4:48pm PDT NAS North Island CA) the President was on-borad. I did have a good shot and yes there were plenty of police arround me when I took this shot -- I actually had to drive off-base to take the photo as it would have been prohibited while on-base.

If interested see: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1031&message=14833226

I'll be getting the 17-40mm f/4L as a repacement for the kit within the next week -- after that it's a good monopod, then the 30D, and finally the big telephoto prime -- most likely the 400 f/4.6L

Then we were entertained by Greg Poe, a world reknowned stunt flyer. Wow, what a show.

I did not know planes were supposed to do this:

Kiss the sun. This photo needs a little more PP to hide some specs, but I am too tired to do it tonight. Kind of liked it though:

all shot with 20D and Sigma 70-200EX (I know this may be the wrong forum, but I used to post my 300D shots here all of the time. Still feels more like home to me than anywhere else).

Saw some model aroplanes, then this YAK took off and gave some show to remember. Taken with 350D/70-200S+2.0 Extender...

From a small airport open house...

I like the pan on this one...

And this... I recall once at another air show, they mentioned how the mark of a good pilot was to touch down their T-6's tail-wheel first.

I caught this purely by accident!
