Birds fighting over peanuts and other food... sorry for the fuzziness, but it was getting too dark for faster shutter speeds.. Taken from inside the house through a window.

Hi Charles. You have captured an unbelievable sequence and the blur only adds to the excitement because it really gives the sense of speed! I could feel the tension!!

)) This has got to be one of the best sequences I've seen and aren't you glad you have burst mode!!

I couldn't have said it better. I get that here on a smaller scale between the house finches and the morning doves but the house finches don't stand a chance.

Too bad you can't tell them "hey, there's plenty of food to go around, so stop your bickering!" The slower shutter speed really accentuates the frenziness of the Blue Jay so I think it's effective here. I like the 6th pic; the facial expression and body pose on the Jay tells it all. Neat sequence, and thanks for posting!
