Took these on my bike trips using different lenses (some PP). Comments are appreciated. After 800+ shots I never regretted buying the DL.

BTW I bought the Lowepro Orion Trekker II which I find very comfortable (more so than the SlingShot).

DA 18-55; 18mm, f/3.5, 1/180s, ISO 3200



F 70-210/4; 210mm, f/8.0, 1/500s, ISO 200



FA 20-35/4; 20mm, f/8.0, 1/250s, ISO 200

nice shots, the top one however might I suggest is a big noisey. could have dropped the ISO and still taken the shot handheld by maybe 1 or even 2 stops resulting in an iso 800 which would be much cleaner. I do like the shot tho! thanks for sharing.

It's a dangerous business, walking out your front door. You step on the road and if you don't keep your feet, there's no telling where you might be swept off to.

I could have lowered the ISO but I wanted to know what the camera would deliver at ISO 3200. In my opinion the noise isn't disturbing at all.

I also use ISO 3200 for indoor sports using my f/4 lenses wide open and without flash.

BTW Like to see some shots of Vancouver Island. I've been there a couple of years ago for a very very short stay.

Good high ISO is the main reason I bought the Pentax and of course the fact that I already had owned some K-lenses.

3nd one is the best of the bunch IMO. a classic shot.

but im wondering why you didnt hand hold the first shot at 30/1 and lowered the ISO?
 
Love the third. First is interesting ... ! have rarely used 3200 but it is impressive in the first shot as you say not necessary here but interesting ..... esp as with kits lens at Jessops you can pick up DL2 for £350!!!!!!!
