Who's your favorite TV animal?

No self-respecting poll of "Favorite TV Animals" can proceed without the name of Foghorn Leghorn being uttered.

Granted, he was a cartoon chicken--- He is still the best in my book!!--CSR

If Trigger can't talk she doesn't beat Mr. Ed.

Since this is a Olympus Digital Camera Forum, my contribution is a
picture taken with my Oly 2100 of a picture that was handed out
when Roy Rogers visited Cincinnati, Ohio in 1985 (by the way Roy
Rogers was born in Cincinnati)

Here is the picture of Roy and Trigger. Naturally, Trigger was not
with him. He died years earlier...I forget the year.

No it's not. We don't know for sure that Mr. Ed couldn't really talk. Ceasar appointed his favorite horse senator, I submit that as evidence.

Man, NOBODY has mentioned the most important TV animal of ALL! (I'll admit I haven't read this entire thread; There're a ton of posts here!) But anyway... Does no-one remember Ben?!! No 'last name' but he did have his own qualifying adjective: Gentle Ben. No silly horses or dogs, we're talkin' BEAR, here. A TV first (and only). He didn't talk, but man, he could utter some meaningful poly-syllabic grunts! When Fury or Flicka strolled into town, the local folks stared in admiration... When G. Ben paid a visit, they stared in respect! LOL That's my 2 cents

Is it Skippy the bush cangaroo, Benji (Lassie is too sissy),
Flipper, or Mr. Ed?

To be eligble for the contest the animal must have a show of it's
own (rules out Frasier's dog).

I think Mr. Ed's cool because he can talk. Then again he doesn't
solve many crimes. Maybe Buffalo Bob knows some of them personally?
