It was a busy weekend, but not so busy I couldn't sneak out a few times ;) EXIf is imbedded

This is a Long Jawed Orb Weaver sitting in it's web strung between lengths of dried Bluestem, 35mm macro, it was too thick to get the tripod closer:

Two of our horses in the early morning fog, a 40-150mm photo, handheld.

This is a tree along a the fence line to our other pasture. I like the tree, it's a new favourite subject ;) 40-150mm photo off another fencepost.

This is a bit different for me. An abstract of the dew-laden tin roof of my storage shed. It is reflecting the blue of the sky and a touch of filtered sunlight. 40-150mm photo

Hope you enjoyed these, critiques and comments welcome.

wow really nice warm pictures. nice job. what camera you got?

Hi William,
Two of our horses in the early morning fog, a 40-150mm photo,
handheld.
An excellent shot. The range of colours and moods in just a single picture is quite special. I like it!

Another great shot. I like the way the posts and of course the tree at different distances have darker or lighter shading depending on the mist. Helps to convey the feeling of depth. And my personal dislike is the man-made wire-mesh which to me is unsightly - others may disagree. I would have preferred to see natural vegetation instead. But we can't have everything, at least not all the time, and this is still a fine picture.

Regards,
Peter

Nice photos, William -- once again. My horse lady is out at the stable giving riding lessons all morning, but when she comes in I'll show her your horse photo. She really enjoys being out in the pasture with the horses when the sun comes up.

Hello William,

Thanks for sharing these. I particularly enjoyed the 3rd and 4th shots you posted (tree and abstract). Nicely seen!

Kind regards,
Brian

I especially loved the 2nd one with the horses and the humidity in the air. The colors are wonderful! The spider is really good too. Glad I had a look.

A real nice series of shots William! I particularly like the foggy field and the tree. Very moody shot. Keep them coming.

Thank you, I was very happy with that shot, I did have to add a color gradient to the sky, it was light enough to wash out the blue in the sky when exposing for the field. This is much more accurate.

I agree, can't have it all, all of the time. I do need to remove those feedlot panels and reshoot at some time, but yet they do add some farm appeal, at least to me.

The horse picture is superb! What a splendid view - and what a way to begin the day.
