I agree TOTALLY! The only thing I can think of using it for is
watching a lot of photos on the TV screen.
I can almost see doing that. Maybe on a trip, sharing photos with
friends? Then again, if you limit the "slide show" to the length a
set of batteries will last, they won't be running away next time I
visit

- should I not bother installing the Oly
drivers on the 'puter, and go straight for the USB reader?
I was thinking of mail ordering the SanDisk reader from NewEgg, but
the price with shipping is more than the price w/tax at the local
BestBuy :-(. I thought I saw some place that had a memory
card/free reader combo, but I can't find it lately.
Popularity seems to be favoring the Zio just slightly over the
SanDisk? Can both be (relatively) easily hacked to provide the
Olympus panorama feature on non-Oly cards?
I'm trying to prioritize my accessory purchases here. Thanks for
the help!
