I've seen it in their ads, but I've been to three RS stores around here and have not seen ANY Panasonic cameras in-store. Is it web-only?

No; I saw and held it at the Radio Shack in White Flint Mall in Rockville, Maryland.
Yeah, I know. I seldom buy retail, but the Circuit City guy was so helpful and knowledgeable when we tried it out (a prerequisite for my daughter), I would have felt like a heel ordering it online...even though he informed me that Circuit City employees no longer work on commission.

You lucked out, because Circuit City has the best (or at least close to the best) price for the TZ1 still, even at their retail stores.

It's frequently been ~$297 and right now they have a 10% off coupon. I ended up getting mine at Circuit because that price was actually pretty good and the store is only 5 miles away.
