XD H type cards

I'm using Olympus H XD cards in a CF adapter through my firewire CF card reader (5 years old) and all works fine. However my generic 21 in 1 card reader which I brought 3 months ago will not read the H card, either direct or in the CF adapter ??rlindzen wrote:

I have a 512mb H card and my sandisk 8-1 card reader reads it perfectly. I think that they have a 12-1 reader that replaced it now.

My year old Sandisk 12-1 card reader reads my type H xD card (1 gig)
Hint: the xD card shares the same slot as the smart media slot, just look at the teeny tiny print marking where to insert the card.

good choice. It is as fast as my older firewire reader which now sits in the garage sale bin since I am now using both xD and CF and also have SD cards for my PDA.
It is a little large for taking on the road with my laptop, but it will read anything I have fed it.
