Looking to purchase a Battery Grip for my D70s. Has anyone got any views on these products and recommendations. I see ebay have grips from Japan. Are these any good?

I am after is a grip that matches the existing d70s bodies color and looks professional I don't want anything that will cheaping the d70s.

I have just purchased a Sigma 80-400mm lens and want the grip to balance the body if you understand where I am coming from.

check out the MERKURY grip at cametacamera.com..i use one on a D50 a like it alot..very well made ..@85 bucks

In the UK you can get a Hahnel grip..I think Jessops do them along with many other online retailers.

Cheers

Hi

I use the Hahnel battery grip on my D70.

I find it vastly improves handling as I've got large hands. It also improves balance when I've got my heavy Sigma 100-300mm F4 fitted.

+ you get added bonus of 2 batteries in the grip. Not bad for £95.

Cheers

I reckon it's a pretty good match. I'm certainly happy with it.

internet price wasn't any better than store price when I got mine so it might be worth seeing if anyone has them in stock.
