Rebate status updated

I mailed last week and it was delivered on May 2. Today, i checked my status and it is already on step 2 (processing). It says no errors. Is it possible that the error could appear later? Thanks.

Is it safe to say that if I mailed mine in over a month ago and the rebate center still doesn't have me registered than I'm about to go through rebate hell also?

Don't think so, the store where I purchased the camera filled it out for me and said they mail it.

I know how that sounds but they are actually good friends and I'm sure they sent it, not sure on the certified part though...

I'll contact them on Monday for more info.

Well, I would assume that yes, it is possible. It seems to me that it is during "processing" that any errors would be found, so until your status moves to "check approved", there's always the chance that an error will show up.

FWIW, I didn't send certified (wasn't aware that I should) and my status shows "processing" with "Error(s): None" as well.

I wasn't aware that there was a problem going on with the rebates. I'll have to do a search and see what stories people were sharing...
