What's a matter not taking enough pictures, getting rusty?
Here's some more of the red stuff.

I'll misquote Donald Rumsfeld when I say,
'You go take pictures with the glass you've got.'

Back in living color. Is the B/W phase over? This camera taking thingy really can make something out of nothing with the right eye. The composition in the first shot is interesting. I like the bright blue amongst the "rust".

I am still amazed at what some tubes can do to the most mundane things to spice them up. From the fruit to the nail all very cool! Coiled rust looks like it could be a garden hose or a snake ..

Are they taken with just a single tube? I dont know much about macro ..(heck a dont know much about anything) but have seen single tubes, double, triple etc and am curious at what they all do.

As usual thanks for sharing so I could get my daily fix.

Hi Bill.
Temporarily, yes :)
This camera taking
thingy really can make something out of nothing with the right eye.
Are B&H selling "right eyes", need to upgrade mine - lol
The composition in the first shot is interesting. I like the
bright blue amongst the "rust".
Tried to incorporate a splash of color with most as far as was possible.
Glad someone noticed :)

Ornamental Wrought Iron earthworm. Garden inhabitant.
Doesn't eat much, so that's good.

Taken with a set of 3 Kenko DG (AF and AE capable)
12mm, 20mm, 36mm.
You can use 1 by 1, eg 12mm only, or stack em for 68mm.
I use the latter mostly.
Camera ---> Tube(s) ---> Lens

Daily fix administered, Doctor has left the house .... ;)
rgds Bill.

Excellent as usual! (I can see I'm going to have to write a standard reply to your picture posts and just copy & paste! ;-))

You've noticed some things most people wouldn't even "see". The use of additional "secondary", bright, colours in the images to contrast against the dull reds/browns/oranges of the rust is great - it really makes them look different and unique! I really like the inclusion of the blade of grass (or whatever it is) in the first one - kind of indicates the superiority of nature (alive) over man-made objects (temporary, decaying), and what will happen when we (human race) are gone from this planet - great effect! :-D

Puts the rust picture I posted yesterday to shame!

Thatnks for noticing that martin.

grass, indeed, solitary blad.

very observant indeed, BUT, I can show you of nature's decay too.
The one complements the other :))

I saw that one, nothing to be shamed of at all.
Just a different perspective.

lol - never thought about it Jeremy.

I just like pointing this thing at other things, and see what things it comes up with :)
