Your BEST daffodil picture please...

Very good effort indeed - the 'bokeh' certianly helps to make the flower stand out. Its the first dadfodil I've seen photographed with this partcular camera - and I guess the OIS gives you extra few f stops of hand held steadiness. Thanks for includingh the exif data too.

A very welcome sunlit yellow there. Daffodils are not that easy to get 'just right' (I've been trying for years without much luck!!). But I hope you'll snap some more before the end of the season. Thanks for contributing to this thread :-)

Good use of the background there - the hint of red and blue with in-focus yellow daffs in the foreground - very spring-like and refreshing.

Top-notch entries Pete - I love the first one especially as the exposure is spot on. If yellow daffodils are difficult to phoitograph then white ones aren't necessarily easier - so this is a good example of how it should be done!

Thanks for contributing. Super shots.

Gary - I think that first picture is the winner!! The 'crowd' shots - ones showing a mass of daffodils are the most difficult of all because definition and contrast is often lost when there is such a gathering of the same shade of yellow. Yet, these all still manage to look fairly distinct well into the distance.

I reckon if Wordsworth himself had come accross this scene, he'd still have written his "daffodils" poem!

Excellent work - and thanks for posting in here!

hehe...nice one Bert! The poor daffodil got attacked by a huge wasp!

Well spotted and thanks for adding your contribution to this thread. As you can see, quite a lot of people are trying to shoot these yellow spring visitors!

Wow! A very close study there - almost right into the centre of the flower. Thanks for posting.
