I am working on a project that in a nutshell is my daughter sitting in the bed of a pickup playing with sand toys with the truck on the beach. So far I've managed to cut the kid out of a picture and put her in the bed. I've put some sand under the truck and added a sunset. Only problem is that the reflections on the side of the truck reflect my driveway and trees. I have plenty of sand that I can sample from. Just want to pick some brains about a way (easy or hard) to maybe try and get rid on the trees and add sand. Am I nuts to try or should I just drive to the beach and compose the shot there? I'm running CS2. Thanks

Thats going to be a tough one.

If it were me, I would reshoot. Using a polariser would remove some of the reflections - but in any case you would have to re-shoot.

I am sure you could process it for a while to try and get rid of some, but it makes me shudder thinking about it.

I don't have a polarizer for my C-4040z, and the 30D fund envelope is a little light. I might play around with it a little just for grins but I don't think i'm gonna have the time to do it and still have it look good for the time it would take.

You have one other small problem that may help you address the first issue. You put a setting sun in the photo behind truck thus changing light position on the truck. Need to fix this issue too - so you could just clone / brush out the bright reflections since that side of the truck would now be in the shadows given the new light direction.
