an old surf buddy of mine works a 9 to 5 to pay the bills, so surfing isnt the biggest priority. Typically the only time im able to shoot him is before sunrise or near sunset, so as always... really bad lighting. here is an image; that from a surfing skill standpoint is an 8, but due to the poor lighting and inability to freeze the action, the photo quality is IMO, a humble 5. the only thing i could think of doing was to do a zoom blur effect. here is the result...

and to be honest, I delete the bad ones....

So do I but I couldn't delete this one...simply because of the sunglasses, initally,
and then the mouth expression ;)
