A quick poll...jpg or raw?

Hey Aussie,

Why do you use TIFF? Is there any particular reason for you to use
this file format? Just curious.

Cheers,

Rafael.
Me, too...! :-)

Started with JPEG, moved to RAW

Now back to JPEG - couldn't cope with the slowness of it all, even with upgraded firmware and lightning cards it's TOO SLOW.
Also, couldn't cope with the extra space and time needed for pics.
Also, couldn't cope with the loss of various A2 functions when using RAW.

Also, didn't really see much difference in quality - yes, the 'top right hand pixel maybe, just maybe is sharper' but hey hoh - I'm happy to bracket JPEG.

In short, JPEG suits ME more than RAW

Feri: This is a great forum. I've learned a lot, and I pay tribute to everyone who, like you, works so hard to make it interesting. But a sense of humour it hasn't got!
