Nothing like waiting 'til the last minute! How do I set up the 4800 to take pictures of this event? Would like to set the camera on a tripod and set the timer. What settings shoul I use? Thanks for the help, Hutch
Where will you be taking pictures? If the place is clean (light polution)
enough, I would suggest testing on the leo constellation.
once you get the timing correct, you can decreasing the iso down to 100
(if you changed it) and/or slowing down the shutter speed.
if you are into removing noise via darkframes, take some samples afterwards using the same settings.
note: the dc4800 does have noise removal built in, but only on certain shutter speeds (i don't remember which.) so thats why i suggested darkframes.
anyways, good luck. i'm lazy so i'll probably be in my backyard hoping to get something.
