First test with 105VR and R1 kit

are considering this lens as a combination macro/portrait lens. I know you are busy with your new toy, but could you post a picture that shows how the bokeh of lens is?

Sure, Ed, be glad to. I'll be doing some more tests with it.

In the meanwhile, you can see the circular bokeh on the body of the out-of-focus body to the right of the subject. Quite smooth, but I'll be doing photos with much more OOF highlights.

The ant is simply amazing! Wow. I just got the R1 kit, and am waiting for the 105 VR. Can you use it without any special attachments (I also have the 60 macro Nikon lens, but can't get the part needed to safely attach it to the flash units). Thanks, and keep up the incredible work!
