A few from yesterday...I need alot more practice and also I need to use the finder and not the LCD screen. This was something new for me shooting a very fast plane at low and high altitudes...it's a start though

Very nice! The second photo has a fantastic angle!

Yeah! The high altitude shots were made for IR! The plane reflecting all that IR looks like a bug. And the IR its trail accentuates it.

I suggest splitting the image into RGB and see if there isn't an even more dramatic version.

Could you help us understand how you got these?
What camera, filters, exif, etc.
Thanks for sharing...

I try for the 'Wow' factor but I'll settle for a moderate 'Hunh!'.

Hey Ben,

Looking good to me. I especially like the plane in the clouds shot, but i'm sure there are a thousand good compositions to be found there. Keep 'em coming.

By the way I dont know if it was you who asked, but experiments on my 828 in IR with a hoya green filter were a complete failure - no real effect noticable. I had the green filter in my IR filter's case by accident and gave it a test in the field to see how it would go. I switched back to the Red 29 and got much better results.

Hey Frank, not me on the green filter and the 828....

it's been some time since I messed with colored filters for IR, I once had a gallery up on how each colored filter, ND and CP reacted with the nightshot mode in daytime with the 717, have not done this with the 828 yet..but, with using the 717 and the common Red #25, ND .6 and C.P I had pretty interesting results even the Orange 041 N.D and C.P same with the Sepia 3 filter...

Is your 828 stock or modified?
