The Kodak Klic 3000 battery for the DC4800 is available from

http://www.ygoodman.com/showcategory.asp?selcat=Batteries

for $33 + $5 shipping. They also have their own brand of "equivalent" battery for $30.

The site also has a page that discusses the various merits of Kodak, Fuji and other batteries for the DC4800. Makes interesting reading. The general conclusion is that there is little if any difference and that you're better off saving a few dollars and buying their brand.

The $33 price for Kodak is way less than anything else I've seen on the net.--Jimcal

I have purchased their own brand of battery from them and very happy with the battery performance. I also ordered the battery with the charger. There was a problem with the labeling of the charger (kodak's problem) and it was quickly resolved.
