i like this series, its very soft and calming/soothing to look at. i did notice that there seems to be quite a bit of noise? maybe it's my monitor - i'm at work and this thing is far from top notch. what lens was used? 50mm reversed? look forward to seeing more :)

Thanks for your reply. There appears to be some noise in the shadow areas of #3 and #7, due to my "late night" post processing (oops!). Images shot with tokina 90mm f2.5 at-x.

Can you talk more about your process? I like the look a lot. Are you playing much with color?

Thanks for your reply. All shots were taken with a Tokina 90 / 2.5, all wide open. They are were taken for an assignment I'm working on, which required me to make a square crop.

The photos were taken late afternoon, mostly in shade. Only post processing was white balance in NC 4, curves in PS cs2 and USM for web viewing.
