The Eyes have it

Hi Tony,

The gull is my favorite. Very nice composition, exposure and sharp. Your shooting angle is a bit high for the flamingo. It is tough as there heads are bobbing up and down. The Meerkat is a bit over exposed.

I'm glad you liked the gull shot (my girlfriend liked it too).

I had literally hundreds of shots of the flamingos from various angles, this one was the day's winner (IMO), but you might have preferred some of the others.

While the Meerkat is not technically overexposed (i.e., no clipped channels); I agree it is too bright and should be toned down.

Thank you for giving me the benefit of your experienced and nuanced eye, it helps me to improve my game.

sure do, nice shots. The gull is the winner from a passing glance but I prefer the first I'd have just cropped it square to lose some the surrounding "distractions". Very natural I like shots that show "life" rather than as an almost inanimate object. See to many of them here.

Love the way the laight falls and the shadows dreated in the first one.

The second one is really "in yer face" I like it a lot too:)

Thanks for sharing these!
