Jessops have the G2 at £750. Anyone know anywhere cheaper? They'll offer me £240 trade in for my 6 month old S20. I could sell it separately I suppose. Any suggestions for the best deal?

Dear Richard,
Try getting Jessops to price match the G2 with:
http://www.warehouseexpress.com
They have it listed at £585 or something like that. Alternatively, buy it direct from them! I don't know if Jessops will price match and do a part exchange, but if they did, you would be on to a winner!

Take a look here ( http://www.digital-cameras.com/ ) Richard, seems to be the best price I've came across. Another thing too, I was in Jessops last week & the salesman said they would match a price wether it's in a magazine or also the internet.
Might be worth your while to check your local branch as the price differences are pretty big. Hope that helps.

Bought one from them last week. They price matched against http://www.camerasdirect.co.uk price of £585.00
Another poster today use dmy advice and got one from Jessops based on the same dea ( actually 5 GBP cheaper )l. See earlier posts

Personally, I've never dealt with them although I emailed them regarding shipping prices to N.Ireland and got a quick reply from them. They also seem to advertise a lot in camera magazines; (this months What Digital Camera, p59) so I would expect them to be of a reputable standard.
Put another way, when I decide on the camera I want I'll show Jessops their price, if Jessops don't match it, I would buy from them without any hesitation.

I purchased my G2 about 3 weeks ago and Jessops price matched it without any problem - just had a printout of the Internet Site - saved me £150 off Jessops own price.
Has anybody had any luck getting Jessops to price match Microdrives - i've been in a handful of Jessops stores, some will some won't
