I'll have to look at my pictures to see what I have but this one came to mind, even if it isn't artsy!
This is a Steller's Blue Jay on my blue deck. It almost looks like he's smokin'. Maybe he's just taking a break before singing the blues

Just for fun! This is frost on my windshield and because of the settings on my camera, this is the color right out of the box - I did very little PPing - cropped and resized.

Very nice, James! The two blues are an amazing match! Sharon

And a very nice 3 they are, too! I was hoping for three sunsets but Second Hand is so good I don't mind that you didn't do all sunsets!
I like the light a lot in Sunset wiv Blue. It's hard to get both the low light of the setting sun and the moon too but this shot captures both well.
You got great light again in Sunrise wiv Blue. The radiating rays of sunlight are subtle but they are definitely there and add a wonderful glow to the image.
On the other hand, Second Hand is my favorite, a very creative image. I do find the texture behind the clock comes through the hand a bit and is kind of distracting.
Good work, Rod! Sharon

Wow, two good shots, CJ! The Steller's Jay is a wonderful shot, he looks especially well against your deck railing! Who said the images had to be artsy?! A well done photo with some heart is as wonderful to look at as an "artsy" photo any day.
On the other hand, your Frost image is pretty darned arsty and I love it. The color, accidental or not, is delightful and the image is so nice and crisp and clean. Well seen! Sharon

Hi, Mary Anne! I like your three. The first one is especially apropos! I don't think of Joan Baez as a blues singer but she is singing and the lights are blue so it seems perfect to me! The contrasting red jacket is especially nice in the shot.
The contrast of old and new in the second one is very good. Did you try it with the near edge of the older building cropped out? I find that bit of grey a little distracting with all that other color going on.
Seagulls are irresistible aren't they? Good composition on this one.
Good work, Mary Anne! Sharon

Well, I think Paolo says it all! Really, these are great Bill! Your first and third are fantastic. The second one is really wonderful too, the only thing I would think about with that one is the cropping. At least for the purposes of this challenge I would crop closer to the blue flowers it eliminate some of the background distractions. Good job, Bill! Sharon

Three great shots, Jose! I agree with the others, the second iceberg shot is the most interesting. I think the bushes or trees in the foreground give us just a hint of what the scale of the icebergs might be. In the first one there is no way to tell how close you are or how big it is. The color is good in both though!
In the third one I really feel that it is more about the gold than the blue. When I opened it I went "Wow, gold!" not "Wow, blue!" and I have a hard time seeing the blue because the gold is so stunning. Still a really wonderful shot! Sharon

You do, indeed, have the blues! I like them all but I like third one the best for the intensity of the blue and the contrast with the building lit in red in the background. Good work! Sharon
