Hidden 30D page is probably a D30 page

I just wanted to point out that it is not necisarily a 10.2 MP cam as people have been speculating because of the hits of "30D AND 10.2" on the canon-europe site. Those hits were likely generated from that document.

I still think that it may be logical for canon to put the 5D sensor "rejects" into the 30D body (now that 5D fab has been running for 6 months), and make the 30D a full frame cam. This would be just like when they used the 10D sensor in the cheaper 300D once fab got running on the 10D. My reasoning for this is because of the speculation of a new, cheaper version of the 350D (which could both share a sensor). This may also explain the secracy. But that is just my own bit of speculation (but I wanted to debunk the 10.2 MP 30D rumor that has started).

that docuement, the HTLM header for the page reads,

Looks like they were trying to give us all a valintines day hint to
the upcomming release of the 30D. Curious why a 5D press release
would be updated on 2/14/06.

That section is about the new software, which is backward compatible with the D30.

30D and 12 also works. It starts to make sense. Since 10.2-10.4 is for Mac OS 10.2-10.4.

Basicly seems to be a a typo :)

included is a software package(...) backwards compatible up to the 30D (makes only sense if they had the D30 in mind)
