I need a polarizer for my 70-200 and I don't know wether to go for a nikon cir. pol 77mm II or a B+W (or other?). My priority is quality, not price. Which one is best? Any pros or cons ?

You won't go wrong if you stay with Nikon, B+W, and Heliopan. I personally use the Nikon CP II on all my lenses including the 70-200 and am very pleased with the results.I need a polarizer for my 70-200 and I don't know wether to go for

--We use several 77mm MRC CIRC Polarizers by B+W. We've taken to the
B+W brand, but I'd think that the top of the line Nikon stuff may
be comperable. The only bad thing about B+W is that their slim
polarizers don't have outer threads, and the cap that comes with
the pol. is TOTALLY WORTHLESS. . . and for $160 or so, thats just
plain unacceptable! Stay away from B+W slims. Their standard high
grade circ. pols. are just plain WONDERFUL!
