Epson has produced the Long Life Paper ICC profile, which helps some (I'm still running lightly magenta, grrrr). Have any of you wizards using Wizywig or other profiling program generated a Photoshop Elements / Epson 785eps profile that REALLY WORKS for you? If so, maybe we could set up a "profile exchange" --- it's ridiculous to spend this much money time and effort reinventing the wheel!

I'll share anything I get.

I agree, their profile takes the worst out, but still leaves a bit of magenta cast behind. You know, it should be so easy for Epson to keep a section of the web site full of updated profiles. Heck, they could even save some time by allowing others to upload their favorites. Obviously, not all profiles will work for everyone, but keeping them all in a convenient place sends a message that Epson wants to support & foster it's online user community.

Frankly, this web forum has done more to convince me that an Epson was a safe bet than their website!

Yes, same results here.

I have asked Epson if the ColorLife profile was made with the old inks rather than the new series, and, to date, have been unable to obtain a response. To me, it seems the error in the Colorlife profile is close to the difference between the old and new ink formulations.

Epson IS investigating this problem; the person who has been assigned to look into the problem (at least with my printer) is Ms. Sylvia Lynch. I will ask her tomorrow if she wants to hear directly from those who share this problem, and if she does, I'll provide her phone number.

I quite agree that we shouldn't have to go through all this... and agree too that Epson should maintain current profiles on their website.

Hi marv:

I am interested in your ICC profiles, but am unable to email you from here - the server gives me an error.

Please keep me in mind when you have your profiles ready.

Thanks in advance
Manuel
