EOS 3D - eye control - Canon STRIKE

Oh well... at least the mythical, rumoured for years 3D still lives. In many photog's dreams at least...

I hope there's something like this in the pipeline though.

I did actually!! - last night I had a dream I got to play with a Canon 2D and also a couple of other canon cameras which I couldn't make out the name of!!!!

It was meant to be a high speed camera so that the 1 series could just continue on with the top level mega pixels!!!

Why can't I dream of naked women anymore!!!

and of course it's a fake. A nice looking fake, but still a fake.

The top is a Canon 1D series, and the bottom is a Nikon D2x. Just look at the images in the D2X review. The prism was warped in photoshop, and it can't be that small. Remember the EOS 3 had a very large prism, for all the electronics and IR sensors for the eye control. Unless is a pentamirror, which is highly unlikely on a Pro Canon DSLR.

Frankenstein my ass. Haven’t you seen the ugly button to pull out the old 1 series style batteries. There is no such thing on any Nikon. It’s too hard to Photoshop this from the small resolution files of Phill’s samples. As it was mentioned upwards it’s the same lighting conditions as to all cameras pictured on this site.

small sensor in a big camera, why?
Ask Nikon. They have plenty of cameras like that.
They all seem to sell well.
