Still not sure how to determine if I have BFS.

Took about 30 indoor night shots with flash and all camera parameters on AUTO. Room lit by incandescent overhead light. All pix look the same --white-walled room, furnature colors OK, some grey on walls as flash illumination falls off. No hint of blue.

Also, pix show same tonality with lights off and NightFraming.

Soo, can I conclude "no BFS", or is there a better test???

My serial no. falls in the "bad lot", but I'd hate to take action if no problem.

What worked well for me is taking pictures of the back of my hand in front of the camera as far as it will reach. Make sure the hand in the center of the frame, and that there is regular incandescent lighting in the room. This will usually give me 2/3 blue and 1/3 red pictures. If you have a light colored wall or carpet in the background you can really tell (but the sickly blue hue on the hand is obvious as well, especially when compared to non-BFS shots).

There were some examples in another thread.
