At one point during the evening I excused myself and ducked across
the road for about 20 minutes and watched this all unfold.
What a way to end a great day !!
Absolutely, Bill! Nature always writes the best endings! Magnificent colors and superb composition...you even caught a guy standing at the shoreline.

Outstanding image, my friend,

****:)

Bill, this is one of those that I can just keep staring at for the longest time. I miss too many of these around here. Gorgeous. Have you shared this with the folks that were at the feast?

Funny you should mention about the others. Because of that , I have emailed a link for them to have a look.

I had been talking to Roz and Jane and they saw it on the lcd when I returned , not the final version though.

Most of the party wouldn't have noticed what an amazing sight it was , for the two storey house next door.

cheers Andy,
Bill

May show my age here but that sky reminds me of the movie ( If recalled correctly ) "On the Beach", which was supposedly in Australia.
Given your profession, can you confirm or deny title ?
Cheers my friend. Very spectacular.

John,

Thank you John.

There are so many times I have been in what seemed the right place, and for nought.
I have other sunsets , but for sheer colour alone, th is is the pick of them.
Now what was that about black holes and voids ?
No man is an island. :o)

cheers John , much appreciated.
