This one is gorgeous, thanks Robert. I like to see interesting shots of the normal surroundings.Sorry this one's a bit large, but compression seems to hurt this
shot more than others I've posted. No exotic locale for this one:
taken right in my backyard in the late afternoon with a Fuji S1,
24mm 2.8, 1/180, f16, manual.

Beautiful photograph. Rich colors and dynamic composition. And, perhaps, just a touch of polarizer?Sorry this one's a bit large, but compression seems to hurt this

Robert,
Wow! It's way more than worth the download time. I love the
(backlit?) golden leaves against the dark blue sky. Great shot,
Robert!

Robert,
Wasn't "Autumn Sonata" a Bergman film? I'm sure it was, I've seen it.
But in case you haven't, trust me, this is nothing like that film,
or any that he has done.
No, this is light, airy, and joyous. The only thing it shares with
one of his films is that it is well photographed indeed...
Always my very best regards,
Ed
Hong.

Very beautiful, thanks for posting!
I can see why you would call it a sonata: lots of different detail
making a very definite unity.

perhaps, just a touch of polarizer?
Thanks.

I really like the way that you have captured not only the lighting but also the spacial arrangement. I can often capture one or the other but have not succeeded as you have at capturing the feel and shape at the same time. Maybe I need to try more variations as you have to get it just right.Sorry this one's a bit large, but compression seems to hurt this
