G2 Makros

So here is my first little G2 Makro Site.
All Photo are shot with 250D and 500D makrolenses.

Wow, stunning. Not just in terms of picture quality, but in terms of composition too. Wonderful shots.

Definitely a gallery to bookmark and point anyone at who asks 'can the G2 do good macros?'. You bet!

Nice pics. I like your setup. Who makes the slide rail for the camera. And where did you purchase it?

The slide Rail is an spezial Slide for makro shots. It is from "Novoflex".
I buy it at http://www.achatzi.de for 250 DM, the correct name is
"Novoflex castell mini"

Have you used the MR14EX macro ring flash for any of these shots Matthias?
Were the 250D close up lens used at all or are the pictures taken with the
G2 alone?

Thanks Matthias. I orderd the bogen version this afternoon. It is not quite as fancy, but was about 50 dollars cheaper. I also orderd a B&W +10 macro lense. I am a little anxious to try out some macro shots. Thanks again, Rick http://www.pbase.com/rickb/galleries .

All shots are with 250D and 500D. But no Photo with Flash 8420EX).

I have the Bogen Macro slider also; you will like, I think. It works great with my SLR setup. These are two of the first shots taken with it

Yes, the macro photographs are very good. My G2 is on the way.
