:-) Interesting, Mark. Exactly the same thing I was thinking. If what Sean is looking for is a bunch of 'folks' who live close to him it would be better to say 'only whatever-state-he-lives-on people'. If that is not the case, then why only United States? And what will the group do? Elaborate.

Cheers,

USA because were going to build a profesional website that cost money so we would pay half and half and when we sell are pictures we split the profit 50% & 50%. The group will take pictures and sell them and go on photo safaries.

Sean, if you want anyone to be interested in your "photography group", you are going to need to do it a bit more marketing. Like being a little less mysterious about what the purpose of the "group" is. How old are you?

I was thinking the exact same thing. He's in his early teens I believe ( http://www.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1019&message=1660643 ) or has a penchant for young kids.

Sean, you need to do a whole lot more research before you start this project. Definitely need to "sell" it better if you want support. If you believe you have the skills at your age, more power to you. I wish you to be the digital Henri Cartier-Bresson, because I certainly wasn't thinking about marketing my photography at that age. If your serious, take the bull by the horns and run with it.

Post some of your nature shots so that others can see what you bring to the table.

Well I'm 47. Good luck on your idea, but I wouldn't be too optimistic about finding people who will send you money. Why don't you just learn a bit more about photography from this great site before advertising for professional photography business partners?[/B]
