Hello this should be really simple. I just turned on raw for my Canon 20D and shot a bunch of photos. Now I can see them on my camera but when I go to copy them to my computer it does not show any files ??

Is there an update that I need ?

Any input would be great

Thanks,

Jay

Check the software manual that came with your camera, page 18.

Well, i installed the software and it sees my directories on my camera but says there are no images to transfer.

Hmm, It is not reading any of the Raw files for some reason.

Is there a firmware update needed ??

I have 2.0.3 firmware.

Any suggestions ??

Thanks,

Jay

Get a card reader, then you can transfer the files to any computer w/o needing the camera driver.

I just thought I had the same problem, with a new 20D.

Turns out the only app here that can see the RAW files while the camera is connected via USB is the EOS Viewer utility. And within that app you have to drag the files to another folder in the folder pane (left) in order to copy to harddisk. First then I could actually modify the RAW images or get them loaded into other programs.

Just follow the instructions........... Drag and drop the FOLDERS and the Raw files will be seen on the computer.

I had the same problem...download the very latest Cano Zoombrowser version 5.5 and your problems will be solved. All your downloader and raw viewer apps will work again, but I use zoombrowser since it has the most convenient destination file set-up for me.
