This was taken with that old, out of date D100 that just never was capable of taking a decent photo. We all know that if I had Canon gear with me, that the humpback would have gleefully lept from the water instead of turning tail!

The above, is of course, sarcasm. YMMV.....

Isn't that a bit of banding showing up there below the buildings?
I see a bunch of wavy lines.

Perhaps it's contageous from the D200!!!

is a Bald Eagle sitting on the tail. Stan will have a hard time beating this one.

Really outstanding!!

No, it isn't banding, it can't be. The D200 is the only camera in the world affected by banding. If you don't believe me, just read the forums. And, hey, you were warned not to look!!!! LOL

Thanks, I just saw the press release a while after I posted the pic. A few days ago, there were 2 highly endangered right whales seen in the Gulf of Mexico near Texas. Some very strange things happening........

LOL, but I'll have to go for the moose, that would really annoy him! (Inside joke with a long explaination not worth making) I don't have an eagle shot, but I might try a hawk.....too funny....

I wasn't taking you seriously, I got the intended joke. Just having a little fun back. Hard to express humor thru a keyboard.....
