No worries,your all welcome. I posted this 30 mins ago in another thread but i thought it would get more visibility this way. BTW when I couldnt find one I downloaded firefox and opened about four tabs and then set each tab to the respective d200 page for circuit city, best buys, jr.com and bhphoto. Then I saved them all as my home page. I just open the browser and have a look every few minutes.

Just a suggestion as I am now officially off the d200 watch! Mine gets here tomorrow and I ordered a 50mm 1.4 to try it out with!
 
I just called - all excited I had found one. They are out with no anticipated date for receiving more.

They knew how badly you wanted it.

I just received mine the other day from Circuit City. I had a few concerns since everyone was saying these must be returned units. I was relieved to find it an un-opened box. It works great. I even verified the total number of shots in the EXIF and it was indeed never used.

Interesting. The D200 has now joined the X-Box 360 as one of the items specifically mentioned by CC's phone ordering system: as there being no chance in Hades of anyone getting one in the near future. Curiouser and curiouser.
 
I feel very fortunate.

I had resisted the idea of pre-ordering.

I went to the local Ritz/Wolf camera and the guy tried to sell me on their "Ritz Express" pre-order. but he did it by showing me unfilled back orders that were dated back to November!

Again, BIG thanks to espressogeek!

And, BTW, this camera will use a ton of old Nikon gear I had sitting in a closet including 2 bellows adapters, and lenses that require mirror lock, my really old 50mm 1.2 NOCT, the 55mm Micro, etc.

Mine had an order date of yesterday as well. Must be a glitch. I ordered it overnight, I have my D100 already sold and the buyer is waiting for it.
 
Ordered more than one by mistake (hit complete order three times). They're sending all.....maybe Eabay?

Joe so glad it made you happy! Mine will be here tomorrow so I must go to the camera store and find a good deal on a nice wide angle, not likely. I did order a 50mm 1.4 that I will try out on it SOON. If I keep this as my main rig I WILL order the battery grip and extra juice.
